I find this myth baffling. Yet, evidence points to a widespread belief among younger and even
middle years folks that older people need less sleep. Science conclusively shows our sleep
needs, once we are fully developed (after puberty) stay the same throughout our lives. Younger
people believe they can run for days, even weeks on two hours a night, but we know that’s
wishful thinking. We also know it’s harder to get to sleep and stay asleep as we get older.
Luckily, I have covered in detail ways to help us fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer so that
we can rise and shine and be vibrant every day.
